Our Story
We are a boutique-style, woman-owned business in New Brunswick.
Our owner, Sarah Emmanuelle Arsenault, combined her health studies as a Naturopath with her passion for fine foods by creating The Rustic Cheese & Chocolate in 2022.
Early in her professional career, Sarah studied at L'Académie du Chocolat de Barry Callebault in Montreal, Quebec, becoming a full-time Chocolatière in early 2000s. Also a well respected Cheesemonger, Sarah has been active in both disciplines for over 18 years in the Greater Moncton Area.
Married with two daughters, one having gluten and dairy intolerances, Sarah has been perfecting her vegan and gluten free recipes for over 15 years, and now offers her homemade creations for sale at the Moncton Market.

At The Rustic Cheese & Chocolate, we take great pride in our craftsmanship. From the way we temper our chocolate to the final touches on each dessert, we make everything in small batches, paying close attention to detail to ensure that every product is of the highest quality, while ensuring freshness and flavor. We offer a range of flavors, from the classic to the exotic, all carefully crafted to provide a truly luxurious experience for your taste buds.
Our artisanal products are made with only the finest ingredients, including premium dark chocolate.
Our cheese selection is beautifully curated with a mission to promote artisanal cheeses, including local NB producers as well as imported cheeses from across Canada and Europe.

We strive to be eco-friendly in all aspects of our business. Our product packaging is made with recyclable material, where feasible. With that, we continuously look for ways to reduce and eliminate waste, while ensuring the freshness of our products.
